What Is Apprenticeship?

Apprentices gain practical experience working for electrical contractors, supported by related classroom instruction. They learn the skills of the trade from experienced skilled electrical workers.

On-the-Job & Classroom Training

Apprentices learn how to perform work in the field and why the methods are used through technical classroom training.

Will Training Be Close to Home?

Outside electrical construction projects can require travel. Apprentices may work in different locations to gain a broad range of field experience.

Introductory Training

Initial training may include safety procedures, OSHA requirements, climbing, rescue, first aid, CPR, rigging, tools and equipment. ALBAT determines current requirements and scheduling.
